She spent six days driving through quaint Canadian towns and snowcapped mountains surrounded by glass-like rivers. Calgary, Vancouver and Lake Louise

Insider Tip: Take your time and enjoy the drive from Calgary to Lake Louise with a stop in Canmore.

Overall impressions: I loved Canada. The drive was easy and filled with picturesque rivers, mountains – very little traffic to deal with!

Surprising fact: The national parks in Canada hire college students from all over the world to work at the stores, hotels and restaurants.

Where to eat and drink:

Neighborhood to explore: You should explore the Kensington area in Calgary as well as the downtown of Vancouver. Both are easy walking with interesting shops, restaurants and pubs.

Daytrip suggestion(s): While staying at the Post Hotel, we [visited] Lake Louise and had lunch at the Fairmont Lake Louise.
