The 12 air-conditioned kutiyas (cottages based on traditional village architecture) are modeled after traditional central-Indian homes and are accessed through private courtyards and feature limewashed mud walls, open rafters with rough-hewn wood beams, handmade roof tiles, wood shutters and floors of local stone; unencumbered views of bamboo foliage. Public areas are housed in the original kothi (homestead), which has ceiling fans, terra-cotta tile floors, a fireplace and a 600-square-foot veranda.
