Courtyard Amanruya Kea, Greece. Wadi Rum, Jordan. Playa Grande, Dominican Republic. Le Phare de Gombe Beach, Gabon. Penang, Malaysia. These are all possible sites of future Amanresorts properties. Last week one was made official: Bodrum, Turkey.

Courtyard Amanruya Amanruya, on Turkey's Bodrum Peninsula, will be the 28th property from Adrian Zecha's hotel group.  Opening this August, the resort will feature 36 "pool terrace cottages," each with a four-poster bed, writing desk, soaking tub, dining pergola and  private pool.

The property sits on a hillside 30 minutes by car from the resort city of Bodrum, the cosmopolitan seaside resort that his also home to Harper-recommended properties Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay, Ada Hotel and The Marmara Bodrum. Suite Amanruya The resort also has a three-story library, a terrace and wine lounge, a boutique, an art gallery and four dining pavilions. A 165-foot marble swimming pool and tennis court round out the facilities. Somewhat surprisingly, the property does not have a traditional Turkish Hamam, but rather a handful of spa suites. A pathway winding through olive trees leads to a private beach club. Suite Amanruya
