Amanzoe, Amanresorts' third Mediterranean property (after Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro and Amanruya in Bodrum, Turkey), is set to open next month. The resort is situated on the east coast of the Peloponnese, a 10-minute drive from the seaport town of Porto Heli. Featuring 38 pavilions with private pools, the hilltop resort is surrounded by olive groves and overlooks the island of Spetses and the Argo-Saronic Gulf. Reservations are available from September on, and rates start at €825 a night. For more information, please visit Amanresorts. In additional news, the hotel group will open a new resort in Brazil (the coastal Amanoca, an 80-minute drive from Rio de Janeiro's international airport) and is actively investigating sites in Chile, Argentina and Ecuador. Founder Adrian Zecha also hopes to open a sixth Indonesian property in the Banda Islands of the Moluccas. The company recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of Amankila, a secluded 35-room resort in Bali overlooking the Lombok Strait.
