After this year’s miserable winter, it’s perfectly understandable if you prefer not to contemplate the return of cold weather. But there is little time to waste if you wish to travel somewhere warm over the winter holidays. Accommodations in the Caribbean are always the first to book up, with interconnecting rooms disappearing especially quickly. The beach resorts of Mexico and Costa Rica fill shortly thereafter. Those traveling with family should consider renting a villa or chalet, the space and privacy of which make them perfect for multi-generational trips. Or a yacht charter — perhaps the most memorable way to explore the Caribbean — might be ideal. Finding space on Caribbean flights can be difficult already. The best alternative, especially for those traveling in a group, is to work with a private jet company.
