Flying in an ultralight aircraft less than 500 feet above the ground, Brooklyn-based photographer Zach Seckler captured expertly composed photographs of southern Africa. These beautifully muted images of wildlife patterns and tracks come from his debut photographic exhibition, "Botswana."
"Being above the ground at such low elevations, and having the ability to precisely maneuver, was like gliding over an enormous painting and being able to create brushstrokes at will. As an artist, the experience was visceral and life-changing," Seckler noted.
For those in New York City, the exhibition will be on display at the Robin Rice Gallery now through February 23, 2014.
