From the Travel Office: European Dream Destinations

We asked the Harper travel consultants on our Europe team to tell us where they would go if they could pick anywhere within their territory. When this question was posed to other destination teams in the office, we received a wide range of answers. Not this time – much of Team Europe dreams almost exactly the same dream. But perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. Who could argue against a private yacht charter?

Bonnie: “I would do a private yacht rental with All Yachts Worldwide and see as many of the islands of Greece as I could, for as long as I could.”

Joe: “I would sail in a private yacht around the islands of Sardinia and Corsica, then from Positano down around Calabria, and over to the Aeolian and Egadi Islands off the coast of Sicily, as well as Lampedusa and Pantelleria. Finally I would head to the Aegean to see all the small Greek Islands that no one knows about or can only be reached by boat.”

Sue: “There are so many places I would like to go! But, what I would really like to do is to explore Slovenia and Croatia, including a few days on a private yacht with a great chef and some good wine and the exquisite backdrop of the Dalmatian coast and its islands. In addition, the mountains, castles, villages, history and people of Slovenia are calling (partly because I have roots there – my grandparents were from Ljubljana). In Croatia, I cannot wait to discover the treasures of the medieval city of Dubrovnik as well as smaller fishing villages.”

Paula: “My dream is traveling the South of France, immersing myself in the culture and taking cooking classes.  I would also like to spend a holiday sailing around the islands of Greece in a private yacht.”

Phyllis: “I would love to go to Morocco. The culture is so different from the European destinations that I have traveled to.  In addition, there is a tremendous amount of history associated with the wonderful architecture.”

Teresa: “My dream destination is any destination I could travel to with (private jet tour operator) TCS & Starquest Expeditions – any of their exotic destinations. Their trips are fabulous – they make a lifetime of memories!” St. Florent, Corsica
