  Rosewood Rosewood Mayakoba

Many of the most popular holiday resorts sold out months ago — Little Dix Bay, Caneel Bay, Carlisle Bay, Hermitage Bay and Tortuga Bay are all booked — but it is still possible to find space somewhere warm over the winter holidays. If you do find availability at a resort, make sure you can secure air tickets before you put down a non-refundable deposit. Many flights are already selling out on key dates. We did a little hunting and ferreted out a handful of beautiful resorts that can still offer availability over the Christmas/New Year’s period. Please note that many of the properties listed below may be sold out except for one or two accommodation categories. Availability is subject to rapid change, and some of the space we found may already be gone. With those caveats in mind, any of the following properties would be a wonderfully sunny choice for a holiday getaway: Mandarin Oriental – Miami Enchantment Resort – Sedona Sanctuary Camelback Mountain – Phoenix area The Boulders – Phoenix area The Phoenician – Phoenix area The Grand del Mar – San Diego area Rancho Valencia – San Diego area Rosewood Mayakoba – Riviera Maya Capella Pedregal – Cabo San Lucas Four Seasons Punta Mita – Puerto Vallarta Peter Island Resort – British Virgin Islands The St. Regis Bahia Beach – Puerto Rico But why confine yourself to the land when you could charter a yacht for your family? All Yachts Worldwide has four options for unforgettable five-day charters in the Caribbean.
