Hôtel Hôtel d'Aubusson

Thoughts are turning to spring, and more specifically, spring in Europe. Our most popular hotel last week was the Hotel d'Aubusson in Paris. From the Harper Collection: "This handsome 49-room hotel occupies an impressively converted 17th-century townhouse in vibrant Saint- Germain-des-Prés (yet only a short walk from the Louvre and other Right Bank landmarks across the Pont des Arts footbridge). The impressive oak-beamed grand salon just off the reception lobby contains genuine Aubusson tapestries, Versailles parquet floors, fine antique furniture and a mammoth stone fireplace. For extra space, choose a Grand Luxe Room adjacent to one of two indoor patios, or a larger Junior Suite with an exposed-beam ceiling and sandstone walls. Each room has a mahogany work desk, flat-screen satellite TV/DVD player and Wi-Fi connection. The hotel contains several smaller lounges, a breakfast room and an interior courtyard for drinks, with an adjacent café and many excellent restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner."

In addition, the most booked cruise line last week was Silversea.
