Set around a rocky outcrop, Mateya Safari Lodge comprises just five huge air-conditioned suites. These are astonishingly opulent, with four-poster beds, deep armchairs, large fireplaces and artwork ranging from tribal sculptures to contemporary African landscape paintings.
