Grace Hotels showed up in my peripheral vision about five or six years ago. Part of the Libra Group, a conglomerate comprising the business interests of the Logothetis Greek shipping family, Grace Hotels debuted in 2007 with a boutique property in Mykonos. It was not until August 2013, however, that the company abruptly appeared front and center with the acquisition of both The White Barn Inn in Maine and the Mayflower Inn in Connecticut. Two months later, I learned that the Grace Cafayate had just opened in Argentina’s wine country. Clearly, the group lacks neither energy nor ambition.
