Patti, our Office Assistant, just returned from her five-night family vacation at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. While she enjoyed Disney's Beach Club, she preferred the quiet and spaciousness of the Four Seasons Orlando.
Delve deeper into her family getaway below:
Insider’s Tip: If you are a family traveling to Disney World, the Four Seasons might be your best option. When you get back to the hotel after a day at the park there is no sign of "The Mouse", so it is not Disney overload.
Overall impressions: The Four Seasons is new, fresh, clean, quiet and spacious. Quite different from staying at the Disney properties, but still lots of activities to keep children busy all day long.
Favorite moment: Seeing how much space at the property is allocated for kids. There is a family pool, a kid's pool with water slides, a water park with lazy river, a castle with a kid's play area, an entire indoor area with a volcano, and much more. For adults there is is also a private pool, beautiful spa area and exercise room.
You can't stop thinking about: The refrain from Disney overload at the property is impressive. Also, my favorite, the walk-in closets in all room types.
Favorite meal or meals: We had a gourmet breakfast that was perfect.
Favorite restaurants, museums or sightseeing: We decided to visit Epcot Food & Wine Festival which has excellent dining options.
Where or what to drink: The proximity from the hotel to Epcot made it the best place to start our evening with appetizers and drinks. We drank our way around the world, starting in France and ending in Mexico.
Neighborhood to explore: Since you are at the happiest place on earth, you must visit Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland and everything else Disney has to offer.
