Berlin, Germany

Tucked away on a quiet lane in western Berlin, this chic 78-room hotel set within a limestone structure was formerly the Royal Danish Embassy. With interiors by Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola, accommodations are divided between a modern annex and the original building adorned with period furnishings.
