Château de la Treyne is a romantic 17th-century castle rising from a limestone bluff above the Dordogne River, surrounded by almost 300 acres of formal gardens and forests. Magnificently regal public spaces, including the candlelit Louis XIII salon, with deeply coffered ceilings and an Aubusson tapestry, home to a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Thirty plush guest rooms have dramatic Empire- or French country-style furnishings, some with original parquet floors, crown molding and decorative fireplaces.
