Overview

This unforgettable adventure begins when you arrive at The Elephant Camp, a refuge for rescued elephants in Zimbabwe near Victoria Falls. Spend two nights in a tented suite overlooking Batoka Gorge, and participate in activities like a whitewater rafting trip down the Zambezi River or an encounter with Wild Horizon’s Elephants. Next, you will transfer via plane to Zarafa Camp, located in Botswana on the unsullied Zibadianja Lagoon.

The camp is a model for conservation, with a solar farm that fulfills all electrical needs and game vehicles that run on a mix of vegetable oil and diesel fuel. Enjoy twice-daily game drives and short, guided walks where you will experience exhilarating wildlife encounters.

After three nights, continue to the Okavango Delta to stay for three days at &Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge, located on 25,000 hectares of exclusive wilderness. Guided dugout-canoe trips take you into the heart of the delta for excellent game-viewing and bird-watching, and you will visit a school for orphans to see how a pilot program provides stability and support for local children.

Mention Safeguarding a Future for Africa’s Elephants when booking and we will donate 5% of proceeds to benefit the organization. The S.A.F.E. Campaign by The Bodhi Tree Foundation is dedicated to galvanizing and uniting the tourism industry and travelers to help end the dramatic rise in poaching of Africa’s elephants.
