Travel consultant Della returned last month from a spectacular two-week trip to Botswana and South Africa, which included stays at Chief’s Camp and The Saxon. Although this was her fourth safari, Della marveled how the “vast, open landscapes” and the “incredible diversity of wildlife” continue to amaze her trip after trip. She keeps returning to Africa, she says, because a vacation there “takes you right back in time. This is where man came from, and the landscapes haven’t changed in thousands of years. Somehow you just feel at one with the world.”
