Well-located in the leafy and chic Recoleta neighborhood, this atmospheric 10-suite property is in a 1912 French classical-style limestone mansion. The large, quiet and bright accommodations feature polished ebony floors, rosewood armoires and huge Italian white-marble and French limestone baths. While all guest lodgings include 24-hour butler service, some of the larger suites offer separate living areas with fireplaces and wine-themed wet bars. The hotel’s only dining option, Algodon Wine Bar & Charcuterie, offers a good but very limited food menu of regionally sourced charcuterie, artisanal cheeses and other small plates and serves excellent wines from the mansion’s sister property, Algodon Wine Estates, in Mendoza. A full-service spa employs products created by Stendhal, a high-end Parisian-based cosmetic company, and there is an intimate rooftop swimming pool surrounded by a teak deck with an open-air terrace bar.
