This dramatic property is five minutes from the center of Queenstown. Nine villas, terraced into a steep hillside, provide breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. As villas are situated below the main lodge, golf carts are used to transfer guests back uphill. Accommodations are spacious, with gas fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, living and dining areas, private sundecks and baths with whirlpool tubs set against bay windows. Public areas consist of a guest lounge in the main lodge and a library. Though the property lacks on-site amenities and activities, breakfast is available and access to a gym in Queenstown is complimentary. Fly-fishing, jet boating, hiking, horseback riding, golf and skiing, plus excursions to Onsen Hot Pools can be arranged.
