Housed by a 15th-century Franciscan monastery commanding a glorious panoramic view of Florence, this sumptuously restored hilltop hotel is about 15 minutes by complimentary shuttle service from the city center. Its façade was designed by Michelangelo and is preserved as a National Trust monument. The 45 lodgings feature period furnishings and lavish modern baths.
