A sister property to the renowned Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, this lavish resort is set on a 6,000-acre ranch and is ideally located for those who want to play the sensational Tom Doak-designed Cape Kidnappers golf course, as well as to explore the area’s numerous wineries. The 22 cottage suites, elegantly designed by Linda Bedell, come with extra-spacious baths, large walk-in wardrobes and private balconies providing spectacular 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean. The luxurious four-bedroom Owner’s Cottage, just a short walk from the main lodge, comes with a private chef and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Gourmet cuisine is served in two dining rooms and on a covered loggia. Note that jackets are required for dinner. Amenities include a library, a wine-cellar tasting room, a heated infinity swimming pool, a fitness center and a sophisticated spa perched on a hillside.
