This property is an alternative to the larger resorts in Scottsdale and a good base from which to explore the city. The hotel’s 43 adobe casita-style rooms were renovated in 2017 and are decorated in a Western style, with large gas fireplaces and comfortable canopy beds. Baths include ample walk-in showers but no soaking tubs. The rooms are gathered around a winding xeric garden that, in spring, is covered in riotous blooms. Garden Casita guests have access to private outdoor Jacuzzi tubs. Amenities include a small swimming pool and LON’s at The Hermosa Inn restaurant, a draw for well-heeled diners from all over the city. The restaurant serves steakhouse cuisine with a Southwest twist, and the spacious patio is the best place for candlelight dining on desert nights.
