The exterior of the hotel may be historic, but the interior is chiefly minimalist and contemporary, with stripped wooden floors and modern Swedish furniture. Roomy Junior Suites feature elegant minimalist design, abundant natural light, separate work areas and attractive views of the either gardens or the sea. Baths are well-appointed but tend to be small. Restaurant Långa Raden offers a modern take on traditional Swedish food. No other amenities aside from a small gym. Stockholm’s principal museum of modern art, Moderna Museet, is a five-minute walk away.
