This hotel is a comfortable option for an overnight in Managua, with 157 recently renovated guest accommodations, including some with views of distant Lake Managua. Our Club Floor Double had plush full-size beds, a wood-beamed ceiling, a small marble bath and framed local crafts. Factory Steak and Lobster is a formal dining option with a glass-enclosed kitchen, while lively and well-serviced bars and lounges — gathering places for local expats — surround the outdoor lap pool. Additionally, there is a small fitness center. The club floor lounge has dramatic wood ceilings, an appealing breakfast buffet and an open bar in the evenings, but a large television mars the ambiance. This hotel does not warrant going out of one’s way, but when the need arises to stay in Managua, it is unquestionably the best choice in town.

The chic mix of traditional objects and contemporary décor; the lively restaurants and bars; the fresh feeling of our room; the efficient staff; the inviting outdoor spaces.
The ample size of the hotel; the not-entirely-effective soundproofing; the large television in the club lounge.
Higher floors have better views, some extending to the lake, and more distance from street noise. After looking at the appealing menu of Factory Steak and Lobster, I regretted eating at The Market.
