Located along an unspoiled forested shoreline on the Queen Charlotte Strait, this luxurious, family-owned wilderness and fishing lodge is accessed via a 25-minute helicopter flight from Port Hardy Airport. Nine comfortable, pine-paneled waterfront cabins complement a dining room serving notable cuisine. The Forest Cabins are set along a stream, whereas the Intertidal Cabins are raised above the water on stilts. The resort’s helicopters take guests to pristine bays and rivers to fish for Pacific salmon, Dolly Varden char and wild rainbow and cutthroat trout. Helicopter-adventure programs include visits to deserted beaches, glacier and alpine trekking, cave explorations, whale- and wildlife-viewing excursions, and river rafting. Amenities at the resort include two large waterfall-backed cedar hot tubs, a games room, a floating fire dock and new massage rooms.
The resort provides guests with hiking boots, fishing waders, rain jackets and pants, wool socks, stream belts and boots, as well as fishing rods, lures and flies.
