This lavish safari lodge is set within the private Thornybush Game Reserve along the western fringe of Kruger National Park. Open-air living and dining areas with vaulted thatched roofs are decorated with British Colonial-style furnishings, African tribal artifacts and Persian carpets. Elevated walkways lead to six freestanding suites featuring scenic decks with private plunge pools and living areas with log fires. Additionally, two two-bedroom Royal Suites each come with their own chef, butler and guide. The self-contained Africa House is also available and suitable for parties of up to 12 people. Fine cuisine is a staple, as is excellent wildlife-viewing in open-topped Land Rovers. Amenities include an intimate spa with a gym and a lap pool. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the Luxury Suites.
