This refined riverside enclave consists of 12 suites. Decorated in contemporary and indigenous styles, expansive air-conditioned rooms promote the feeling of proximity to nature with glass and canvas walls, animal-print fabrics, outsize wildlife photography and private observation decks with plunge pools. Public areas feature a pool, a spa, a gym, a magnificent lounge and a library. Sumptuous modern-African cuisine, complemented by a notable wine cellar, is served in a candlelit dining room or beneath the stars. Activities offered include game drives in open Land Rovers and guided safari walks. A villa with two suites, a living area, a swimming pool, a private guide, a vehicle, a chef and a butler is also available.

The luxurious accommodations; the exceptional cuisine; superlative wildlife-viewing for the so-called “Big Five.”
The property can seem more like a luxury resort than a wildlife lodge. In consequence, some guests go on a single game drive, then spend the rest of their stays poolside.
When the rains end in February-March, the bush is very thick and the animals are harder to see. The best months for game-viewing are July through September.
Ebony Suite for Two, $4,350 (all meals, wines and spirits, two game drives daily, road transfers and laundry included).
All meals and beverages (excluding French Champagne); Game drives and safari activities; Laundry and valet services
