This stylish hotel and restaurant is located in the heart of Healdsburg. With just five rooms, one of which is a 700-square-foot suite, service is attentive and warm. Light-filled rooms are fashionably contemporary, with high-beamed ceilings, large windows, superior fixtures and ample baths with heated floors. The exquisite three-star restaurant, accented with custom-woven screens, dark wood and ikebana floral arrangements, serves memorable multicourse dinners. Each course is reflective of the season, with food sourced from the property’s own farm and other local producers. Owners Kyle and Katina Connaughton draw inspiration from time spent in Japan and England, where Kyle worked at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck near London. Though the hotel lacks a fitness center and pool, complimentary passes to a nearby health club are available. The property does not allow children under the age of 12 in the dining room or guest rooms. This is an exceptional hideaway with a restaurant of real distinction.
