Designed by David Rockwell, this contemporary 60-room seaside resort is nestled on a stunning 500-acre property overlooking dunes, sugary beaches and the gentle turquoise waters off Florida’s Panhandle. Guest accommodations all have beachfront porches or balconies furnished with Adirondack chairs, plus king-size beds, walk-in showers and sitting areas with sleeper sofas. Fish Out of Water (FOOW) restaurant serves fresh seafood dishes on a sunset deck fronting the Gulf, and a lounge with a sushi bar offers live entertainment in high season. Amenities at the hotel include a full-service spa, gym and private beach. Fly-fishing, kayaking and hiking excursions can be arranged. The newest addition to the resort is Camp WaterColor, which includes a lazy river. This family-friendly resort also offers an extensive list of supervised programs for children.
