This refuge occupies a peninsula between a protected bay and a long, unspoiled Atlantic beach. The lavishly restored landmark hotel offers 32 generally small but distinctively appointed guest quarters, plus four cottage suites. Public areas include an inviting library-lounge. TOPPER’S offers seasonal cuisine, fresh seafood and an excellent wine list. Guests may enjoy complimentary bikes, spa services at the White Elephant Harborside (in-room massages on-property are also available), many water sports and sea cruises. From the mainland, Nantucket is reached from Hyannis by car ferry (2½ hours). Air service is also available from major cities. No children under the age of 12 are permitted, and the hotel is closed from November to the end of April.
