Charming family-owned inn with 43 rooms housed within a converted 17th-century winery ideally located in the heart of the Moselle Valley. Individually furnished rooms (no A/C) tend to be small, so reserve the largest lodging available. One pleasant Junior Suite featured hand-painted floral wallpaper and blond-wood furnishings; four large windows overlooked a snippet of the Moselle River and the hotel’s garden patio. Excellent Restaurant Culinarium R 2.0 offers creative, sophisticated menu of seasonal dishes; also memorable glass-walled Wintergarten Baldachin, quiet bar and cigar lounge. Small but relaxing spa with a Finnish sauna, whirlpool and sun terrace; unfailingly helpful, friendly staff.
