We Are Going Grey for World Elephant Day

Here at Andrew Harper, we are going grey ... for World Elephant Day! As a show of support for elephant conservation and our recent partnership with The Bodhi Tree Foundation, we are joining forces with travel industry professionals and customers alike to celebrate World Elephant Day on August 12. Look for splashes of grey and elephant images across our online platforms in the coming week. Our Austin and Chicago offices will be donning grey apparel, and we will also acknowledge the international event in an unmistakable manner on our social media accounts and website.

World Elephant Day was established three years ago with the mission to conserve and protect both African and Asian elephants from the numerous threats they face around the globe. The foundation notes, "The escalation of poaching, habitat loss, human-elephant conflict and mistreatment in captivity are just some of the threats to both African and Asian elephants. Working towards better protection for wild elephants, improving enforcement policies to prevent the illegal poaching and trade of ivory, conserving elephant habitats, better treatment for captive elephants and, when appropriate, reintroducing captive elephants into natural, protected sanctuaries are the goals that numerous elephant conservation organizations are focusing on around the world."

In honor of this important event and the S.A.F.E. Campaign, we have worked closely with &Beyond to create an unforgettable African safari itinerary for our subscribers and new customers. We are proud to donate a percentage of proceeds from each booking to the S.A.F.E. Campaign.
