Set on a 96-acre island, this stylish family-run beach retreat is accessible by ferry from Staniard Creek. Luxury lodgings (for a maximum of 75 guests) comprise West Indian-style bungalows, cottages and villas. Though lacking phones and televisions, all accommodations except for Marina Rooms come with personal golf carts. Cottage Suites feature peaked ceilings, wide verandas and a traditional island-style décor with white cotton-covered armchairs and dark wood furniture. Amenities include an overwater spa with glass floor panels, a main restaurant, a freshwater pool, tennis courts and 3 miles of private beach. Additionally, world-class bonefishing, kayaking and snorkeling are available. The property is closed every September and October.

Very little, though the public areas can be rather dark.
This resort will appeal to fishermen and non-fishermen alike; arrange a helicopter or seaplane transfer, as the local roads and scheduled air services are dire.
