This charming seaside resort is set on a cove flanked by rock jetties that overlooks the Bay of Naples and the picturesque small town of Lacco Ameno. The 128 rooms and suites fit on several levels, with those in the Royal Wing overlooking the sea. (Standard and Gardenview rooms are not recommended.) Features include fine woodwork, a stylish blend of antique and contemporary furniture, Murano-glass light fixtures and ample storage space. Most lodgings include terraces with sweeping views of the bay. Multiple fine restaurants are located on the property, including chef Pasquale Palamaro’s Michelin-starred Indaco, which presents exquisite experimental cuisine. A notable spa features treatments that employ thermal water and local volcanic mud. Other amenities include four pools, gym and a sea in which bathing is available. The hotel is closed from January through March.
