This classic resort set on 500 acres curls around a picturesque beach. The 100 lodgings feature native stone, purpleheart hardwood, tiled floors and rattan furnishings, but lack TVs. Before Hurricane Irma passed through in late 2017 and significantly damaged the hotel, renovations were already being undertaken. Signature Pool Suites and three beachfront restaurants were being developed, access to the Little Dix Bay beach improved, and the general landscaping was being revamped. Unfortunately, the work is having to be undertaken again as the hotel strives to recover. The resort included seven tennis courts, a kids’ club, two outdoor swimming pools and fitness facilities, plus a full-service spa with cliffside treatment rooms.
Note: Resort closed until the end of 2019 due to extensive hurricane damage.
The property does not yet have an official reopening date but is expected to be available for booking sometime near the end of 2019.
