This contemporary 20-room resort is nestled in a eucalyptus forest beside Great Oyster Bay. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the three-story main lodge grant magnificent views of the pink-hued Hazards mountains. Signature Suites have more-spacious living areas than the standard Luxury Suites, while Private Pavilions come with kitchens, dining areas and plunge pools. Dinners in-suite with a chef can be booked. Most of the well-equipped accommodations offer sublime views, an appealingly spare décor, spacious baths with extra-long soaking tubs and living rooms with desks, plush sofas and Danish modern chairs. The high tree line can limit views from some rooms, so request one with an unencumbered outlook. Amenities include an excellent restaurant serving multicourse tasting menus, a spa and a gym, and visits to a working oyster farm can be arranged.
