Family-owned manor house dating to the early 19th century amid 400 acres of parkland, pasture and forest 120 miles north of Berlin. Atmospheric common areas comprise a semicircular Pompeiian-style lounge, a library, a bar, a cigar lounge and the formal Wappen-Saal restaurant for French-inspired cuisine. The 20 guest rooms feature custom silk-upholstered furniture, Biedermeier antiques, original artwork, wood parquet floors and embroidered bed covers. The grandest lodging is the 1,075-square-foot Grafen-Räume suite, with a study, main salon, vestibule, walk-in closet and white-marble fireplace. Small spa with gym, indoor pool and sundeck. Outdoor activities include horseback riding, hunting, hiking, biking and fishing, plus nearby golf and tennis.
