Meet your local guide this afternoon for a 1.5-hour private transfer through the Mennonite community of Upper Barton Creek to reach Barton Creek for a cave tour.
This low-intensity adventure trip is great for couples and families offering something for everyone. Equipped with canoes and high-powered lights, you gently paddle into the cave systems. Evening at your leisure.
This morning you are at leisure. In the afternoon, depart on the one-hour trip to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve and your hotel.
Meet your guide this morning for a private tour of Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, the oldest of Belize’s national parks. This tour takes in the most scenic sites near the lodge as well as some less-visited but equally impressive sites. Your first stop is the viewpoint to the spectacular Hidden Valley Falls, which thunder over a granite ledge into the mists below.
Visit the fire-lookout tower for spectacular views over the forest. Continue to the Rio On pools and falls, a beautiful picnic spot and perfect for a cool dip in the many natural pools created by the rocks and falls.

Meet your guide and transfer to Placencia. En route, visit Blue Hole National Park, over 500 acres in area and with the St. Hermans and Crystal cave systems, various natural trails and the cool jungle pool from which the park gets its name.

This morning meet the guide for a one-hour transfer to the Monkey River for a private tour. This wonderful nature and wildlife tour takes you on a river cruise up a lush jungle river, keeping an eye out for crocodiles, green iguanas and a menagerie of birds. Take a moderate 40-minute jungle hike, looking for howler monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
