'Save the Elephants' Safari

9-Day African Safari Itinerary

This unforgettable adventure begins at The Elephant Camp, a refuge for rescued elephants in Zimbabwe near Victoria Falls. Spend two nights in a tented suite overlooking Batoka Gorge, and participate in activities such as a whitewater rafting trip down the Zambezi River and an encounter with Wild Horizon’s Elephants. Transfer via plane to Zarafa Camp in Botswana on the unsullied Zibadianja Lagoon.

The camp is a model for conservation, with a solar farm that fulfills all electrical needs and game vehicles that run on a mix of vegetable oil and diesel fuel. Enjoy twice-daily game drives and short, guided walks where you will experience exhilarating wildlife encounters.

After three nights, travel to the renowned Okavango Delta for three additional days at Abu Campset on a 450,000-acre private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Spend time walking with the herd of elephant and learn their daily rituals and routines.
