Wilderness camp at the edge of Ranthambore National Park, four hours by train south of Delhi and three hours by car southeast of Jaipur. The fanciful tented enclave offers dining and library-lounge pavilions, plus 10 Mughal-style air-conditioned canopied lodgings. Each features a screened dining and sitting terrace opening to a soaring central lounge, a sleeping area with a king-size bed, a separate dressing alcove and a private bath with a freestanding soaking tub and separate shower. Restaurant employs produce from the camp’s organic kitchen garden to serve Indian and Western cuisine in a canopied dining tent. Wildlife-viewing by open-top Jeep, camel safaris, bird-watching treks, two spa treatment rooms and an outdoor pool. Closed June-September.
