Situated amid dramatic rock formations and shaded by acacia trees, this secluded camp is an ideal base from which to explore the southern Serengeti and to witness the Great Migration (late December through early March) and the wildebeest calving season. Twelve 515-square-foot tents with private verandas are set on wooden platforms and feature insect-proof netted windows. Additionally each tent has a personal attendant. Public areas include the intimate candlelit dining tent, a lounge and a library. Game drives, cheetah-watching excursions, bush picnics, stargazing, spa treatments and sunset cocktails with canapés are available. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted. The camp is closed in April and May during the long rains.
The property is designed to have minimal environmental impact, such that the camp can be packed up and removed without leaving a trace.
